I don't know where to start.....

Hey everyone,
I've been interested in learning Healing for a while. However I've been unable to find a teacher through a discreet search in my community. I have a few reasons for wanting to learn this skill:

I have hydrocephalus (a medical condition involving the brain) which means I can catch anything at anytime, two years ago I caught a cold in July 2008, my left eardrum swelled up as I was recovering from that and so I lost the use of that ear for ten straight days. I was treated for it however I was left with Eustachian Tube Dysfunction which has been incurable so far.

One other thing about me is that I am visually impaired, so injuries are pretty common. In mid-July of this year I was helping my sister unload things from the car, as i was coming back to get another bag, I misjudged the distance between myself and the car, took too long of a stride for the relatively short distance between myself and the lip of the rear door which resulted in me smacking my leg against it.

When I got in the car the leg pain actually increased when it usually decreases, curious i lifted up my pant leg to find a scrape with a dark blue bruise on it. A few days later as I was getting dressed for work, whichalso turned out to be the same day I had a doctor's appointment ( convenient, no?), I could feel and see a pretty big bump which turned out to be a hematoma, it was 3 inches long.

Through the course of two months I managed to get the swelling down, there's still some, i can barely feel it though a bruise is still there, it's estimated that the leg will be healed in July of next year.

The one inconvenience this has is that whenever there's bad weather (including cold temperatures as well as high humidity) will cause pain from the ankle all the way up to the knee because the lining that covers the bone is gone for that 3 inch segment of bone and should be covering that piece of bone in July.

Could anyone help me out?
