Alright, that's one of those things I would say keep to yourself. But, thanks

I guess, but seriously most people think about the same things. I mean seriously; your mind is your playground. I'm still a human being you know I'm just one of those people that can admit it in public without being too embarrassed.

I'm not denying it. Either way, how long have you been having lucid dreams?

For about 10-ish years. I'm a natural.

Well, I will admit. I am struggling with lucid dreams and OBEs and what not. I have been told the trick is to remain perfectly still when you wake up, so that your body falls back asleep but your mind stays awake. I have two problems, though. 1. I usually just fall asleep again 2. Sometimes I can't help to swallow because saliva builds up in my mouth and I don't think I am supposed to swallow.
To be honest I have done barely anything. Lucid dreaming is pretty low maintenance and I haven't really practiced anything else. Whenever I close doors, I close them lazily and use psychokinesis to fully close them. Sometimes I try to convince a certain girl to talk to me on facebook with telepathic suggestion (we might go on a date on saturday, yes!). I have tried a little cloud bursting here and there too. I am still pretty good at that, but I have also tried forming clouds and have had no luck at all. Maybe that's because I don't know where to get any aerosols from and also clouds are far away and thus I might not see a very small cloud I just created

I'm trying to have an OBE too. To put my body to sleep, I use visualizations instread of trying to keep my body completely still because that would just drive me crazy. It works for me so maybe it'll work for you.

Well, I do something where I just tell groups of muscles to go to sleep (one group at a time) and it works for me. Yet, OBEs mostly occur during the morning and when I wake up in the morning my thinking isn't quite straight yet if you know what I mean, so it's not like I do any of that

Ok, then. So do you just have a problem with staying awake?

I guess because I tried doing my exercise to make only my body fall asleep when I woke up in the morning and feel right back to sleep within a minute or so

Just make yourself a little uncomfortable so it'll be harder to fall asleep like laying on your back or take away your pillow. Or maybe you can practice in the middle of the day when you're not so sleepy. Hopefully that will help.

The purpose of relaxing the muscles or taking deep breaths is to relax the body and to clear the mind. It becomes a little bit easier to concentrate in a relaxed state, so it's ideal to attempt to OBE. The real challenge is to become extremely relaxed, yet to retain consciousness throughout the whole process. For this certain situation, I would define consciousness as, "being aware of what you are going through". Constant attention is then required, but it must be passive observation since once you begin to think the possibility of transitioning into a dream heightens. That's all the advice I can give for now, since obviously I still haven't had an OBE, ha ha ha. If I can pull one off then I'll explain to you what went down throughout the process. It's difficult to differentiate between an OBE and a lucid dream though, so heads-up with that. I can help with lucid dreams though.
One method, DILD (Dream-Induced Lucid Dream), can be attempted right when you wake up. You are already extremely relaxed, so further relaxation methods are not needed. Pretty much when the dream destabilizes and you see nothing, stay still with your eyes closed. What at least happens to me is that the dream imagery just breaks apart and I am faced with a black abyss. From that point I just visualize a scene or some noise and I can feel a faint sensation, whether it be sight or hearing. I just focus on that sensation and it heightens to the point it becomes extremely vivid. From there I just visualize myself stepping into the dream and suddenly I am lucid dreaming. I have also heard you can try reality checks, but that never really helped me. Maybe it's because I never reminded myself to ask if I was dreaming though. Just try out what I suggested about the lucid-dreaming advice, while doing some minor meditation to keep up the length of your attention. If you are falling asleep easily then you also might want to learn how to force yourself to stay awake without the aid of external stimuli.

Wow, thanks. Well, I was in Cape Cod for a week without any internet and thus I haven't posted in forever. I have made a couple accomplishments. 1. My first mind reading (sorry for fluff). I told my friend to think of a fruit. I naturally thought of an apple, but upon trying to create a link between our minds, I saw an orange. I went with apple though and he told me it was the orange 2. Psychokinesis on waves. I tried making waves while on the beach and succeeded in creating a tiny wave. I made much bigger ones too, but that was geisting because it only happened when my friend angered me by kicking sand in my face

That sounds more like telepathy to me.

I know. Telepathy is kinda broad though. It could be telepathic suggestion and you could even stretch for saying sensing is telepathy. So, I specified

Sadly, no more telepathy experiences and worse no lucid dreams or out of body experiences yet. Am I supposed to think something when I wake and keep perfectly still? What triggers the out of body experience? How long do I have to wait for the OBE because I might give in to my urges and move or fall asleep before it is possible.
Oh and I went to Cape/Wildwood Crest, NJ for a week and worked more with psychokinesis. I succeeded in creating waves (small ones, very small, but still visible) or what I thought was amy creation. It's hard to tell because the creation of a wave naturally seems quite random to me even if I know it's not.
Also, I worked on making pre-existing waves bigger for better bodysurfing and while surfing tried to propel myself farther. It worked.

Alright, it's been a while and I'll admit, I've done a lot of nothing. Lately I have been trying to AP, but without any luck. My relaxation method works very well. I just cannot seem to break free of my etheral body. I have tried using the roll out and levitation method, but with no luck. The rope method doesn't seem logical because I sleep on my side. I just need to practice I assume.
Also, I think I am gonna start from square one again. I will try to sense and move small bits of energy until I can proceed onward at a higher level
