Quick question here, could a construct be coupled to an electronic device? For instance, if one were to send a specific signal to an electronic device, a construct coupled to said electronic device would create a dummy construct with certain properties?

The reason I'm asking is that an idea just hit me. I could make an app for Android, Windows and Linux, possibly for other smartphone platforms too, which does just this. So for instance, if you need a practice target for scanning or some combat application, you press a button, the app sends a signal to a server, which is in turn "watched" by a construct, said construct makes a dummy construct with the needed purpose, assigns it a "name" that has been chosen by the server receiving the signal, this "name" is in turn relayed back to the app that sent the signal, and the app displays the name to the user, who then has a practice target for personal use, complete with a name that can be used for scanning or directing any form of energy towards the construct.

However, this entire idea hinges on the possibility of a construct reliably "watching" a server for incoming signals. And, of course, on the willingness of somebody here to make such a construct.

If it sounds good, you'll hear it.
If it's marketed right, you'll buy it.
But if it's real... You'll feel it.

I suppose it's possible.  I could attempt to help you if you want to test it out.  Give me a PM when you will create the app, how it will be created, etc. and I'll see what I can do.

There are some more complications, such as the server. There will need to be a serverside application to receive the signal and assign a handle to the construct. I suppose that for the test itself I can assign a handle to the server itself (which might be most practical anyway), and then run it on either my laptop or my phone. I'll update with some more information as soon as I've made both apps.

EDIT: I have made a setup for both programs, meaning what they both do and how they interact, and will be posting a thread with this information in the research and experimentation section. I'll need some feedback on whether or not the idea I have is feasible, so anyone who would be willing to cooperate, please check that thread when it is made.
