I know there's a r/psionics community on reddit, but it seemed a bit meh.

So I made r/psi, meant for serious discussion, if anyone's interested.

Not meant to "replace" SP and likely feeding the fracturing of communities, but I like reddit and it would be nice to see an active psioncis subreddit.

I doubt this will attract any attention, but if it does, I would be happy to make you and Apollo mods Adfeng.

I know quite a few of you are on reddit already.

I intend for this to primarily serve as a news dissemination and discussion area, avoiding anything "frivolous".

Heheh, I was very disappointed with r/psionics myself. Maybe we can get some attention to r/psi, but I also happen to know the stance most of Reddit has towards psionics. It'll probably be just us SP guys there, but that won't stop me from trying. I'll check it out!

It seems like it would be harder to get more activity on a completely new subreddit than it would be to boost the kind of activity you'd like to see on an already existing subreddit that has followers already.  As with forums, when there's interesting activity, lurkers will start saying stuff, but getting people to move to a brand new forum is difficult.

Thanks for the links though, I'm adding them to my list of things to keep an eye on.
