Well just for the info, I am a vocalist in a metal band, have lots of experience, but still my throat suffer some damage during singing, growling, screaming and so on. Since the vocal chord tends to be the most useful not torn in half when you are a singer...Furthermore repairing damage seemed appealing. So I read a lot in this section about healing physical parts of your body, sadly there seems to be several dangers doing this... Since there seems to be no specific thread towards this, the sudden realisation that I could post a new thread became apparent. Therefore I feel that it would be nice with some guidance in this topic, due to my lack of experience in this field. Healing energy-bodies, have done countless times. Speeding up natural regeneration of cells and other other things related to healing is so much more complex.

I advise going to an expert to help you sing properly - if you need your vocal cords healed after growling and screaming you're not doing it right. No pressure should be put on your throat. Ever heard what happened to A7X's singer?

Lol, seriously bro you think i don't know the dangers... Every time before I sing I do a special warm-up for the vocal chords, which include  doing the right pitching, the right air flow, proper way to use your larynx and so on. The problem is that even though i practice all of this i still i take some minor damage. The vocal chords take waaaaay less damage than they used to... Meanwhile i learn the proper way to execute the techniques, I'd prefer to keep my voice intact...

I just meant that you should focus on the proper way to sing instead of focusing on repairing the damage. But if you're doing both at once, then that's good.

Also, just out of curiosity, what sort of metal do you do?

Progressive melodic metalcore( Btw we are named Divine Lucidity), I'll post a link to our page when we have recorded a song. We'll do it after the concerts we have booked are over.

I'm sure in some way you could make a construct/something in psionics to help, but I would also look for things that physically can help.  Besides the warmup, maybe drinking something special/something like that would help.

Honey helps, in small amounts (the sugar has an adverse effect). Also, tea.

Better yet, tea with honey.
