I've read several articles speaking of Indigo Child and from what I've read they are supposed to be natural Psions, or strong psychics.
Is this true and have anybody seen or scanned one before?
Or is anyone themselves an Indigo?

Sorry for double post but I remembered, two days ago while I was trying to make a psiball , I noticed that when I look inbetween my hands sometimes I can see Indigo or purple coloured lights out of my hand seemingly like an aura.
I am not implying that I am an indigo but, what does this mean ? Or is this my eyes playing tricks on me?

It supposedly has something to do with the color of your aura, and you'd supposedly have a natural talent in psionics. Personally, I find the idea a bit dubious, as most people who have spoken to me about this claimed they were able to see/sense auras, and we're generally full of *insert slang word for faecal matter here*. One even claimed that my favourite color could tell him something about me. When I said I mostly like black, he was stumped.

Actually, now that I think about it, the only people I've ever spoken to about this who made sense doubted the existence of indigo and crystal children greatly. Personally, I think that the color of ones aura, if such a thing even exists, has no significant relation to ones personality in any way, but there's no way for me to know at this point.

So what is the purple lining I see lighting up my palms? My imagination? Or just psi?

Could be an aftermarket - a "sensory overload" of the retina caused by a fixed stare will cause the eyes to improperly adjust themselves to a fixed color at one point on your field of vision, resulting in a negative of the fixed image. Combined with minor subconscious movements of the eyes this can lead to the illusion of a colored glow around an object. So it's not your imagination, but it's probably not an aura either.

Fun fact: iirc, this same mechanism is used to filter out all the things that are constantly in your field of view, such as the veins in your eyes. You see them, but the brain filters out the image.

I have heard many things both supporting and not supporting indigo children.  However, I'm not sure what's true and what isn't.

There would only be one way to know for sure, and that is an experiment the likes of which can not be performed at this time. You'd need absolute beginners, confirm whether or not they're indigo, and you'd need to monitor their progress in psionics, comparing it to other absolute beginners who are confirmed not to be indigo.

Sadly, this is largely impossible right now.

Yeah I suppose not, I hope to see a rise in more newbies here, it seems like we get 1 or 2 new members per week here only right?

Yeah, if it's even that much. And most of them have some experience in psionics. It would be best to observe some newbies from the very beginning. I'll volunteer as a research subject, if three people can independently (that is, without communication with each other) tell me the color of my aura (If that's possible at a distance), and at least two of them tell me the same color via PM.

I'm an absolute beginner, I have never even felt my own energy as far as I can tell, so I'd be an ideal starting point. I'll work up a research thread later with a proposition.
