I am pretty sure that I did not do things in the right order.I started PK before I completed basic energy manipulation.I used to train PK on electrons before but later stopped it afterwards.I have even cut away many basic lessons.So do I have to stop practising advanced skills and master the basics once again?

If the advanced skills go well, why stop practicing those? Just practice the basics alongside what you already do is my advice.

You can learn any skill at any time.  However, having certain skills before doing other skills, such as basic energy manipulation before shielding, it will make things much easier.  If you can shield, then you should be able to do energy manipulation and make constructs and other things like that.

Is this necessarily true? While shielding is essentially making a construct, does that really mean that being able to shield means being able to form different constructs just as well?

An ability in one application of a skill does not necessarily mean having any sort of ability within other applications of the same skill. I'm not saying your statement is false, Adfeng, but is it necessarily true?

No, it doesn't.  I am stating that by making a shield, usually you would be able to make another type of construct.  It's not always true.

You are correct in saying that applying a skill one way does not mean complete mastery(in the sense of being able to do something) of a skill.  Just because someone can make a construct that can attack doesn't mean they can make a shield to defend, or vice versa.  Just because someone can make a psi-wheel move doesn't mean they can cause a leaf to move.  I was trying to say that if you learn the basics of energy manipulation before you perform shielding, you should be able to shield easier than just shielding to begin with.  If someone were to learn how to shield first, sure, they would know how to shield, but that doesn't mean they would know how to make a construct, but they still might know how just because they had made the shield.
