Can you create multiple anchors or is a psion always anchored to one specific object or idea.

I don't really understand what you mean by "anchors".  Do you mean a specific skill(s) they are natural/gifted at?  I suppose so, yes, but then again, every psion has every ability and can become as good at anything as someone else if they try.

If you mean what I think you mean, you're merely talking about psychologically linked habits. Cupping your hands a certain way every time you make a psiball will result in a psiball bring formed whenever you cup your hands that way. Likewise, gestures performed every time you move a psiwheel will result in movement of the psiwheel whenever you perform said gesture. This can be done with as many things as you like, but can result in mental blocks, effectively requiring you to use the gesture you've grown accustomed to in order to move a psiwheel. So basically, this can be useful, but can also have a definite negative impact on psionic practice.

What I meant was if you get used to one specific psionic practice or object the most it can become sort of as your base and your other skills start to rust. So I was wondering if you can create multiple anchors instead of one. Like if you're anchored to a pencil or a psi wheel and you're have amazing skill at it. Can you develop other skills that seem improbable at the moment. I've never pictured myself moving a pencil. The most I did was move a psi wheel without hands half way. I'm mostly currently a natural at elemental PK, it's so easy for me to do, but moving things like a pencil or even a psi wheel now is a no no.

Just sounds like practice to me. If you practice everything regularly and just focus on what you want to learn, you should be able to learn everything at once. It's like everything else, really: you can learn how to play really fast solos on guitar, but your basic chords will get rusty, unless you play a few chords every day and focus on fast solos the rest of your time.

Ah, I see what you mean.  I think that as long as you practice all skills at least some, you'll still have those abilities.  Even if you were to stop practicing, your knowledge in the subject doesn't go away unless you forget it.  Try to practice a few things one day and a few another, or however you want to do it.  Just remember, it's okay to focus on one sole skill for a little bit, but don't neglect other skills just for one.
