Hi guys I'm back to ask more questions Smiley

How can I SAFELY control/remove emotions and desires? Just ignoring or suppressing them leads to body and mind trouble, so what can I do to control emotions and desires, for trances and such?

And I also want to know how to get started on void meditation/gnosis trance whatever you want to call it.

Thanks Cheesy

I personally use positive affirmations. Basically get into a trance and repeat the behavior you want to instill, though you should attempt to not use negatives in your affirmation. I personally have no information on gnosis, though I have heard about it somewhere.

Oh, a gnosis trance is just a fancy term for a state of mind where you have no thoughts and you are focussing on the " void" Smiley

Basically now you are free to send messages to the subconscious easily.

But how can I get started?

Ah, I do a similar meditation. Basically, you have to focus on nothing; allow no thoughts to enter your mind. It takes a lot of focus, but it's pretty good meditation.

Don't suppress the emotions or thoughts, it will just make it harder. Try to "observe" your mind instead. Instead of thinking or feeling, you are the watcher of a show of thoughts and emotions. If you can be the observer, and do it right, you mind wil calm down on it's own.

the above is absolutely true.

but to do yourself a favor listen to the power of now audio book or read it.

regardless of the thoughts and the rules attached to them they need energy to keep their form up. if they have trap rules that doesn't make them go down with your words that means nothing you say to them gets rid of them.

only not feeding them and realizing the moment they are gone they are ogne and keep going can they leave.

thats just how thoughts work. we create cages of logic that are impossible to escape with logic.

at that point, the only way to leave is to stop creating the cage cause the cage needs constant energy to survive.

I'm going to agree with Infinite Light and tor86. I've actually read the Power of Now and I would deffinetly suggest reading it.

I am going to add my two cents as well and say that you've got to remember your goal while doing your meditations. And some goals are wrong (depending on how you define it). For example, if you're goal is something like, "I want to finally put myself in a trance," then you're going to get all excited over the practice and it will become self-defeating. Then, when it doesn't work, you might end up convincing yourself it really did, or you might get really angry/dissappointed. Keep your real goal in mind and how getting emotional over it is against it. Just do and don't get caught up in the mind's imagination of the future. If you are somewhere, be there entirely.

Smile but have o expectation is what he's saying.

Expectation in ALL AREAS OF LIFE shape reality. It's just when you start dealing with meditation you realize what as already been happening.

Your not trying to create a reality withbmeditation

Your trying to simply finally be in what is.

And s thoughts are a creation experience. You do enough of those already. Mediation is an emptying experience.

It's always good to have some time where your just noir creating anything. What is tru
Y real can come through as rule of thumb.

Meditation is not only erasing all thoughts from your mind. Sometimes when I can't do void for some reason. I create a scene in my head like a movie and I focus on that specific aspect and nothing else. Once you get occupied in any scenario like that during meditating just focus on that and you'll slowly drift away from reality.
