[The Adfeng]

To help encourage community activity, what would be some events that everyone would be interested in?

These events can either be held on the forum or in the site's chat room.  Some ideas could be:  games such as Pass the Construct, the number game; a seminar on a certain topic; you name it.

Post your ideas here!  If you are interested in running a seminar, please post here but also PM me your idea and a small outline of what you would like to teach/talk about and a small outline(such as how you would teach/talk about it, what you would do, anything interactive such as having everyone make a construct of some sort, etc.)

Personally, I think a seminar on some of the basic skills would be useful, where I could get some feedback on what I'm experiencing. Also, practice sessions might be nice, because nobody in my direct environment practices psionics, and therefore I have to rely on the OEC completely for these things.

It would be really useful to have games like Pass The Construct, and maybe seminars on some of the basic stuff. As with yamintenshi, nobody I know practices psionics. It would definitely benefit me to interact with other psions more.

Here are a few of the games I have on my site.
I have a pretty decent population of noobs and advanced folk, so these arn't to hard or boring

Rainbow Shields

Group:Everyone throws up a shield and gives it one color and once everyone is done everyone takes turns scanning everyone and telling their results.
Partnered: Everyone throws up a shield and gives it one color and then finds a partner to scan and be scanned by.

Highlite!

Group:Everyone makes a shield and makes a part of it very bright, either the top,bottom,left,right,middle and back. Once everyone has highlighted a part one person scans everyone and posts their results till everyone has done it.
Partnered: Everyone makes a shield and makes a part of it very bright, either the top,bottom,left,right,middle and back. Once everyone has highlighted a part they split off into partners and scan each other and post results.

BLITZ!!

When I spam !Blitz! everyone in the channel leaves for a minute and comes back with their name changed into a 6 digit number with a P in front, and example would be P666777.

While this is going on no one talks while we scan each other and see if we can figure out who is who, after 3 minutes we post our results in a neat order after everyone says done. The person with the smallest number goes first.

DreadLobster, those sound like great ideas.  Anyone else have any ideas that we can use as forum/chatroom events?
