We all revolve around Birth, Sleep, and Death.

While the site is undergoing
rebirth, I'd like to write some poetry off the dome. I'd at least like to see some poetry from people I'm familiar with too so, please feel free to post yours :] Otherwise, I'd be the only one posting in this thread =/

Freeverse

"I wander among the cloud watching those men bound of death.
Together, we bring Karma to your kind, and maternity.
I corrode your mind and decimate all path within reach.
We are the sympathetic. With us, love and hope intertwine.
I am the one who rust your love and poison your hope.
With us, life around you open up their illustrious beauty.
With me, I bring decay to all your thought of worth.
Stay with we and you will once more speak of life.
Come unto me. I will bring you all power.
I will bring all will.
I will bring all mind.
I will bring all control.
I will bring all strength.
I will bring all calamity unto those who speak ill of you.
I will watch you from a cloud above.
I will take what I once gave you.
I will burn all which you strive.
I will kill all whom you care.
I will enjoy my power as I watch you deteriorate.
I will come to your haven while you are weakest.
You will be consumed. You are imprudent.
Your life has seen you. You are gone."

This poem, which I just thought of off my dome actually comes from deep within me. It's a reflection of what I still haven't gotten over.

What is a man? A miserable little pile of secrets.

If it's too late to show the pearl, you will gaze at the clam and ponder it's drabness.

My dream ended, it gave me a scare:
Feel the wind blow, your hair flies everywhere
Sitting on the warm beach sand; feet bare
Feel the sun kiss and the water's edge near
From afar, skin so beautiful and clear

White and pink cracks between your skin.
Dark red dried; aftermath of sin.
Your nails; a pale purple from misuse
Your lips, swollen and blue from abuse
Feet cracked, eyes cloudy and frayed

I lye next to you thinking in dismay
"This was to be your last view today."
