I agree that minesweeper could be used for that purpose, but you could also be looking at the numbers and semi-subconsciously determining the actual value of each square. While it is a good example of a remote viewing game, a better one would be a game that has "mine" and "no mine" instead of numbers telling you where the mines are.
Also, ever since I found that minesweeper has a cheat code, I can never again play it for real :-P.

You know, it doesn't sound that hard to take minefield and change it so that each block has the word "mine" or "no mine". I mean, you could make each block bigger, and then do it that way. Then again, the mechanics behind it sound kind of hard, since I have no idea how to program.
