As you all know, a shield is not always easy to make when you are under direct psychic attack. So why not use a feel instead of a shield, and have the intent to stop the attack while you just feel your body? Could it work? It takes willpower, but I think it is easier than to constantly shield when the attack is going on. And if you have psi-friends, link to them so they can help you.
You could make a construct that absorbs all energy in you field too, and use whatever programming neccesary. When the attack is over, just absorb the construct again.
Sure it is. Well, at least not for myself, but shielding and offensive shielding are my specialties. Of course, intent would work, that is willpower, and it is possible that it can stop the attack.
What happens if that construct gets overloaded? It would be incredibly simple to overwhelm a simple construct like that.
Then again, you should always have a shield of some sort, and make it self-maintaining. But, you do need to check up on it from time to time.
