http://dreamstudies.org/I haven't fully scouted out this blog inside and out, so I can't give much feedback at the moment. Supposedly he has an MA in consciousness studies, though I never even knew such a field existed. Once I get more information (maybe friday, but I'm burned out right now) I'll give a more accurate review. I honestly visited the blog in response to this lady named Mayatara in dreamviews lucid dreaming community. I visit the dream journal section once in a while; Mayatara occasionally has some interesting stuff. I'll definitely peek my head more into this field called "consciousness studies".
EDIT
Oih! Right before I go to bed let me post up a link I found from doing a quick search on the dude. This link is definitely going to clear up some stuff if Ryan Hurd is dependable for information or not.

http://www.psychologytoday.com/blog/stuck/200909/field-dreamsSummary? It honestly depends on your beliefs and your *possible* openness towards change. He himself admits there's not a lot of formal study in the area he's interested in, so there's not a large body of concrete research someone can gleam from "consciousness studies" (The original post still holds true; I need more research).
