I used to be able to RV and could make out things in a persons' room, such as posters(not what was on them, just if there was one and where), windows, bed, desk, computer, etc.  I haven't practiced at all recently but I can still help people find lost things.  I've helped my girlfriend find a promise ring her dad gave her, and an ipod, and a few other things.

Found my turtle under a table in the house.

Taught my brother how to do it and he found his bus card and glow in the dark powder. I think he is stronger than me in this area.
