Is cursing considered psi? I got a couple out there that I can think of. One thing about me is I am mean but I don't a grudge. First one I can think of was a guy I hated for a time in the army. His car blew up and caught on fire. He bought new one and a week later the same thing happened. He got really nice to me but unfortunately once I curse someone they stay cursed. he went awol one day and thats the last time I saw him. Cursed a boss and 25 years later her life still sucks. Cursed President Obama and he's not doing too well. I personally think someone cursed me. Cursing is not the same thing as murder though. You still live your life but it mostly sucks. I will say that I have also cursed people and have seen there life improve immensely. Maybe there is nothing to this cursing business and its all random chance. I also cant stop a curse. In hollywood thats pretty much that way its protrayed too.

From a psionic perspective, Cursing (and the "spell casting" of Magic in general) falls into the category of Kinesis. Particularly Micro-Kinesis, most of the time, since most "spells" involve probability and Future Selection (ie, practical Manifestation).

And it is possible to stop a curse, in quite a few ways. Perhaps the easiest of which is to bless the recipient sincerely, so as to negate the effects of the curse--taking advantage of the same general skill, but fuelling it with a different intent and energy/emotion so as to achieve a different result.

My sister does something similar with weather. One time, it was a hot clear day and my sister say out loud that she wanted it to be colder. Two hours later, it rained very heavily and hailed. She's also better at predicting rain than the weatherman on most occasions.  Wink I think she might be losing this abilitity since she hasn't done anything with weather for a while. Maybe you could lose your ability to curse or at least control it.

I wouldn't necessarily say you have the ability to curse somebody. I honestly just think they had bad luck. If I am hearing correctly, there are also a lot of reasons why Obama is not doing too well, so I don't think a single person was able to screw over the president badly by not liking them. A "curse" by definition is where you place a spell that is meant to cause harm. Unless if you think cursing certain people, which in turn improves their lives is "evil", I'm convinced it's just random chance that bad things started to happen to them around the same time.

It doesn't suck, you get more or less what you deserve.  And that's the way it should be.

I don't think cursing falls into psionics.  If you were to do something similar it would be psychokinesis to increase the chance of something happening to someone, but that's about it.

Hmm wow finally someone responded to a post I made. I don't know. It seems the person I curse has it for life. I got one going since 95 and her life is still in the dumps. Don't know what happened to the army guy. They usually know they have been cursed somehow and almost always get friendly to me. Sometimes it backfires and the person is promoted or whatnot in an unatural manner. I am not worried about karma since I view the cursed as being in need to learn a lesson and more often than not they learn that lesson.

+++++++++++

You know what is funny? I am getting a bit of a following on youtube despite the fact that I have no content whatsoever and seldom visit it. I now have a subscriber and a couple friend requests in the past week. I was promoting some religion I came up with on athiest sites and it seems that most of the friends I have been getting are in the athiest/physics grouping. Looks like I may have made a few followers...
