So I registered for an account, have already input my activation key, and am now waiting for approval by an administrator. Problem is, I don't think anyone is taking care of the forum. I made an account in the first place to get access to this one sub-board section. Will someone from the proboard staff grant me approval, or does someone like Apollo, JediKaren, or Adfeng still get requests to join the forum? Like I said in another topic, I'm trying to get a copy of the entire forum. Recently Notagh offered about this one program, so I'm going to look up a version that is compatible with windows 7. Even if I can't find one, there might be some useful information for my research in that sub-section.

Damn man, I've been downloading for like two hours now. 781 files saved, 32 MB allocated, and 7158 (and counting) documents left. This is going to take some time...

I don't know how to filter that though.

Lol do try to make sure you're getting html files and not some random cgi files you can't open.  I had that problem a while back.

EDIT:  While cgi files can be used it's a lot easier if it saves as html files.

I'll try, but I don't really want the archives myself.  I wasn't there at the time, you know xD

Just wanted to mention that in case anyone is confused about my motives for trying.

I might also need a copy, since I don't think I'll be able to finish the download tonight. I should have learned how to filter those cgi files...Point being, I don't think I can continue from where I'm going to leave off tonight, assuming I don't finish the download. Maybe uploading it to megaupload or something?

The cgi problem seems easy enough to solve, just have the program append an .http extension.

Downloading all over again, I'll leave it on overnight or something and see if I can get it to you guys.

The one you recommended to me; PageSucker 3.2

I have a registered version. Can I stop the download, edit the settings, then resume the download? Or would I have to start all over again?
EDIT
After tinkering I finally found how to download specific files. The copy I'm ripping is without gif, bmp, png, well picture stuff. I'm mostly going to collect text.

I archived it all (It seems to be all, anyway.)  All HTTP in a folder that I zipped.

Comes to about 150 Mb pm me if you want the file.

Yeah, I'm going to need the file ha ha ha. I've barely archived like 25 MB...And this is from resuming yesterday, where I spent like 5 hours. I download at a rate of usually 140 Kb/s, so...I might have gone slower yesterday too, since I don't remember what it's called but when someone uses the same internet connection the speed is cut in half.
