Some people think it is donut shaped.

I still think the universe may be spherical. Light travels a straight line through curved spacetime which means that even though things may appear flat, they can actually be on the completely other side of the universe, like under us. Anything that looks like it is straight ahead in space could be curved around the whole universe.
