Or perhaps the whole planet is one huge living organism/thing and it eats hydrogen and breathes methane.
Hehe.

I have read about this and it isn't all that bad. At least we know there are others out there

Well, it's not confirmed. They are doing a couple of more trials to see the results. Most likely there is no life on the moon of Saturn.

Maybe. Sorry man, but I don't know much about other planets than ours so I can't give you a straight-up answer, ha ha ha.

Let's go genetically engineer something to live on Europa and inject it into Europa. Then people studying Europa will think Europa has natural Europaean life!

Isn't it possible for bacteria to accidentally be transported from earth to one of the moons if we send a satellite there? After all, bacteria can be quite resistant. I am not saying it is likely, but merely a possibility. Anyways, I think it would be cool to put some organisms from earth there and see if they could survive and the ones that would survive could evolve into new forms of life. it would be cool to watch

Probably not. The gravity might mess up their development and reproduction system, so most likely it would be a huge mess. I don't know enough to give a straight-up answer though.

If the plan is to put some bacteria there and watch it evolve, you would get very bored very quickly.

ive always wondered why they try NOT to do that O.o like i dnt see the harm in just letting some water bears ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tardigrade ) live on mars lol

Well bacteria are actually extremely resistant. Archaebacteria have a special coding that protects them from intense temperature and yes a water bear would be another good choice. Gravity might be a setback though. And yes I know evolution is slow and you'd get bored fast, but it would be for future humans.
