Had another extremely long dream, though I didn't want to be lucid since I wanted to see where it was going to go. It was very...strange. That's the best way to describe it. Man, I'm happy though. Sleeping is getting a little bit easier now that I stick to a schedule and eating a banana right before I go to bed. That's not to say I am getting restful sleep, though I never truly did for that matter. Other than that nothing really happened.

The reason one lacks power in a dream is that one did not give it to them self. Why does one tend to obey the laws of gravity in dreams? Because one expects it to be relevant.
Well, actually no. I have even admitted to some of my dream characters that I don't view my dreams the same as the real world; I am God for the moment. But even still I can't really do anything. I suppose this might be a lack of self-confidence, since I'm not that confident either in physical reality. I'm not sure if this plays a factor though, so input is appreciated. In my experience in lucid dreaming (I started without knowing that it was not normal at a very young age. It was a form of escapism for me.), one can only do what one allows onself to do. If you are flying in a dream, it is because you chose, consciously or otherwise, to be able to. I suppose I could have some strange psychological situation that changes the way I dream, but I find that unlikely.

I tell myself that I want to fly and I can to some extent. There was this one dream that I really wanted to fly, but instead I crashed into a rock. It's just frustrating me that I can't do that much stuff in my dreams.

I suppose...I mean, it did work in one dream. I haven't tried since though. For instance, in one dream I had exceptional difficulty in opening a portal to my old middle school. Since I knew the dreams are different from the actual world, I figured psionics would actually work. So I just visualized myself absorbing the moons power, while closing my eyes and forming a portal. One actually did form and it did get me to the designation wanted, so would that be an example?

Sweet! Log post: Not much happened in my dream. I think it was long, but it was not lucid. I might meditate later in the day, depending if I can force myself off the computer, ha ha ha. I might do some foot strengthening exercises though, since I sprained the foot arch and ankle like a week ago. Full motion is almost restored, so I think it's safe enough to start some strength and flexibility exercises. I'm also starting to realize tactile and visual sensations might be the easiest for me to induce. I'll start with visual first since they seem so cool.

I'm going to go on a mini-philosophy/manga trip, so I won't be as active tomorrow as I am now. For future reference I won't be online at all from next sunday to saturday, so in total will be 6 days long. After that I still won't be as active, since I have some certain personal things to take care of. In other words in like a month I should be able to become really active again.

Very long lucid dream; tried the thing you were talking about Stolide. Not quite the power I was trying to achieve, but it definitely boosted up my control in the lucid dream. I'll have to experiment some more until I can get the hang of it. Other than that yesterday nothing much happened either.

Haven't really had the chance to try out the method again that Stolide mentioned. Yesterday I experienced something similar to a nightmare, though not quite. I wasn't actually suffering, but a friend of mine was caught by a witch and she performed some freaky voodoo rituals, where she would cut her own limbs and my friend would lose his. Anyways, it was pretty traumatizing for me to watch. Finally she cut her own heart out, so my friend died and I was just watching him. It's like those horrific movies where it just feels surreal. The witch could regenerate though, so she came back to life while my friend was still dead. I don't like those types of things, so I forced myself to wake up before it could get too scary. Couldn't really sleep afterward. When I become lucid and can attain some high level of reasoning and memory, then I'll try the advice Stolide gave to me. For the moment I don't really feel like becoming lucid, so I'll leave it off. I'm giving a chance to my body to induce lucidity when it wants to, so we'll see what happens. I'm so tired though, I really need some sleep.

I don't think I had a lucid dream, can't really remember. All I know is that I'm going to camp soon, which will be very fun Allergies will suck, but it's all good. Oh, but work is killin' me...

Refer to previous log posts. Anyways I won't be at a computer for like a week. Today will be my prep day, so my comp. time is going to go out in like 20 minutes.

It's been about a week since I have last typed in my log, but I got back from this one camp I went to, while ordering some school materials and enrolling in this precalc class, while preparing for a road trip. Overall, I have been somewhat busy. Now for the news...
Good News: I am no longer on SP solely for personal research purposes, but to also spread information and to ponder about peoples' posts. In a way it helps improve myself, while helping others by giving them the possibility of improving themselves, or at least to make the other person more sure of what they are doing is okay with them, mentally, emotionally, and ethically speaking.
Bad News: I am done with my knowledge-collecting research. Now it's time to expand on the research with my own experiences. Most likely I will be less active, especially since the school year is about to start up again for me.
I'll still be the person who goes by post after post to learn information, but my mouth will be closed a little bit more often. EDIT Nothing much happened. Haven't really had the time to try some things. My dreams are getting slightly longer though, and lucidity is slowly beginning to increase. I'm still not having much skill with WILDs or OBEs. I'm beginning to invest in earplugs though, so we'll see how that will go.

This is always a good way to go about things. The only problem is that very little forums have information available that is useful, beyond a very basic level, or accessible to those outside of their order. If you find sites to the otherwise, please do direct me their way.

I know what you mean. Not too much sites actually have common information that can be gleamed from different experiences. Heck, sometimes it can be overrun with fluff. The main thing I am looking for is precisely for information regarding the basics, since I personally feel they are still up on the internet today being discussed, yet still poorly understood. This is not only in regards to psionics, but also with aspects of a mind in general, including the area of meditation. I'm the type of person who wants an extremely secure foundation before I move on to constructing more complex structures, which in this case would be an extension of the basics. I'll keep my eyes out for sites that have good information that seem credible. EDIT Typo

I much agree. The only difference is that I think one cannot know. Any theories you have, I would be interested in, however.

Theories in what? On how psi works, how the mind works, or what could even be considered as "the basics" in psionics and meditation?

Oh man, giving a brief piece of my philosophy won't actually be brief, since I have been mulling over a lot of issues and questions, including these, so describing what I believe in might take some time. That doesn't mean I'm not willing to tell you, it just might take a while ha ha ha. PM me with your exact questions or requests to hear about my philosophy. I'll mull over what you will say in the PM, clarify some points if they are confusing, then type out my response; that way my response won't be a jumbled mess with my beliefs being all over the place.
