I remember correctly, your bone marrow already has stem cells in it to replenish your blood. If you tried you could probably move these stem cells to your wounds and use them to completely regenerate, and since stem cells can constantly renew themselves and effectively have no life limit, you could also probably stop aging as well. Once I get good enough I plan on experimenting with this, but of course I'm not going to hack off my arm to see if I can regrow it.

Then again, I'm accident prone so I might get the chance to try whether I like it or not.
I read about one scientist who measured the electrical current in the stump of a lizard that could regrow its limbs, and then measured a frog, which naturally couldn't. He then used a small batter to mimic the lizards charge in the frogs stump, and the frog managed to nearly completely regenerate the limb. It's something I'd look into if you're interested.
