Skin effected by use of to much yang.

This is a question for someone who has experience using yin and yang energies.
I have noticed a side effect of using to much yang in my energy projection exercises.
Red skin T zone, dry, flaky, sometimes gum bleeding when resting.
Please understand I have good dental hygiene as well as skin hygiene.
I understand some foods high in yang have this effect on my body also. (So I know its not all projection related)
I have sought appropriate medical help for the conditions however they seem more like they are treating the effect not the cause.
I am not prepared to give up my training however I was curious to know if anyone of knowledge could help me to generate more yin. I am open to using foods/drinks to do this. Mainly I am interested in energy points and meditation techniques.
If I could find a way to combine the yin meditation with my projection techniques this would help my body to not be damaged.
So here I am throwing it out there
Yin
What do find are the best ways to generate/cultivate this? I feel this is relevant to this portion of the forum as I feel this will help my body to maintain its energy balance during and after training in my chosen techniques. Thank you for your time.

I don't really understand your question - at least, I don't understand it as it relates to psionics. Are you talking about Chinese medicine and energy therapy?
If you have an excess of yang energy, you may try meditation or acupuncture to balance out your body's energies. I've heard that food therapy can also help with this. I'm no expert, but foods considered to be predominantly yin are generally cooling, calming, and nourishing. Try eating some softer fruits and vegetables (like apples, peaches, carrots), eggs, potatoes, wheat, etc.

If you are legitimately studying the use of Yang energy (under a teacher of the Eastern arts or perhaps under an acredited text) then you would also be studying Yin energy in
perfect
balance. You would not be here asking for guidance.
I think that you may perhaps be studying a form of energy manipulation that will result in blockages and stagnant energy. Your reluctance to reveal your practices enforces this suspicion somewhat.

Yes I follow a strictly vegetarian diet. With the exception of Yang (alcohol) on the weekends "Im working on that one."
Raitaro Yes I did experience a serious medically undiagnosable throat chakra blockage that caused my throat area to swell so much that I could not swallow properly for months . I was able to clear this blockage with help and now only get it from time to time. The good thing is that I have learned to focus on and clear blockages within my own body.
I learned about yin yang from a teacher who passed away several years ago. I since stopped studying his particular discipline and am working on a new discipline that has no known teachers. If you know anything about internal closed schools you know how hard it is to find a good teacher who will accept for teaching and most of those have confidentiality clauses and are very hard to get into. My discipline is self taught through meditation. I had assumed there would be some energy healers on this forum which is why I put forward the question. I have isolated the energy type causing the problem. I will continue to search for a yin cultivating meditation.

While I would assume so, it'd be better if you could say for sure that you ruled out physical-based conditions, like skin-based disorders.

I would cease your practice entirely until you find some yin cultivation excercises, lest you suffer from serious emotional and physical issues in the future.
